Anti Depressants

So i started on anti-depressants/anti-anxiety meds about three months ago. then a month or so ago my symptoms started feeling worse so my doc upped my dosage. but now i am starting to feel the same way again.. it is possible to become immune to them? what should i do? thanks :(

it's possible to build up a tolerance to the meds but i'd suggest asking for a different medication if you are feeling worse. sometimes meds can cause that too.

It could be that you've grown tolerant to them, or that they simply aren't affective for you. Either way I would talk to your doctor and let them know that they're not helping you. This has happened to me several times and I've switched medications until I finally found one that seemed to help me. Not all medications will work for you, and it might take some time to find one that works well. I hope that all goes well. :) Good luck.
