Rev. Terry Jones was condemned for his now cancelled plan to burn copies of the Koran on the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. It was said that burning the Koran could put our troops in danger and therefore it is treason. Do you agree?

1. No, it is not treason. He is using his first amendment rights and is not DIRECTLY threatening the safety of the United States.
2. It has not been fully cancelled.

What if people attack the troops because of what he did? Can he be held partially responsible or do you think if such a thing were to happen it is unavoidable.

Terrorists are already attacking American soldiers because this is a majority Christian nation. Does that mean we should all convert to Islam in the name of national security?
As long as he isn't directly involved in activities that pose a threat to the United States, there is no legal ground to stop his book burning. It's foolish to give up freedoms for security.
I think the hatred from the population he will receive will be more than enough. He's already scared to do it, if he actually goes through the criticism will rise and he'll probably want out of his 15 minutes of fame.

There's one important thing that you have to realize in western law; Another individual is not accountable for the actions that another mentally competent individual makes. If some radical Islamist decide to blow up a building in response to his actions, it's not his fault. Those people are capable of conscious thought and are therefore accountable for their own actions. Don't bring emotion into law.

Iraq terrorists cn easly pawn down the US army for a short term ( like man-bombs and sabotages )if they have motivation.
If they burn those Kurans, Iraq and other countries will go crazy.
And what about Muslims in the US Army ?
