Going to a school that outside agencies deem as "good" doesn't make the student smarter. In the end, it's the work ethic and drive of the student that makes him or her successful in their academic career. If you have the will, you can become very educated even at a "poorly performing" school. Also, when you do "good" coming out of a "bad" school, you stand out. Much easier to get a high class rank.

Congratulations on the increasing property value of your home, however, assuming that it lies within the attendance boundary of the school you attend.
