So, over that last while, I've noticed more and more people wearing plaid. Personally, I have quite a bit of plaid in my wardrobe. I have shorts, shirts, belts and even a pair of shoes that are plaid. If you look at Hollister, AE, Aeropostle, etc. (the label stores) there are tons of plaids in their lines. Today, in a class, we realized that out of 50 of the students, 16 were wearing plaid shirts. We took a picture. :) I also like the difference between really bright colors in a plaid and then the dull, more subtle colors which look cooler, but not as vibrant.
Anyways:

Do you notice this where you are?

Plaid looks good on some people, I mean I have a plaid/wool jacket, though that's all the plaid I like and look good in. I find it easier to wear different clothes. I notice plaid the more north you get the more it's used, as far as I've seen.

I notice it's really making a comeback, yet I am not too fond of wearing it myself.

I'm wearing a plaid button down from American Eagle because that's the only kind of button downs they have now, which angers me but whatever. I hate plaid shorts, though. Plaid is pretty popular, though.

I used to really like plaid for a while, then I stopped for a bit, then I got back into it, and now, I still like it,but..I don't know, the situation with my clothes is confusing right now because, I just wanna have a wardrobe with all different kinds of clothing. I used to be known to wear black shorts and a plaid shirt every day, I used to have just plaid in my closet...:rolleyes:

But I usually buy the plaid at other stores in the mall or other stores, NOT Abercombie and Hollister etc....

Plaid for me is nice but it's all about the color combination. If it's bad, don't buy it and don't wear it.

Its really hard for me to find plaid stuff that I like. Or goes with my body. I have a blue plaid button down thats tight on my arms that I like. And a black and whit plaid drivers cap that I wear with my pea coat in the winter. And thats just about it. Maybe a pair of boxers or something. But like I said... Its hard to find shit.

I have a padded shirt looks similar material to the OP that is the warmest thing ever. I have a few in different colours but i think you can have too much plaid (and that is the first time i've ever written that word cos i never know that was how it was written until i read this thread lol).

I don't exactly like wearing plaid shirts, and I cant STAND those ugly ones that are colors meshed together like orange blue and yellow, they are just incredibly ugly, but i have plaid shorts, and you're right i notice a lot of plaid at our school.

plaid looks great on some people, but not so much with others. i personally like plaid a lot. I have plaid shorts, plaid shirts, and plaid boxers. haha. i think it all depends on what the plaid is matched with to determine how good it looks

i heart plaid!!!!! probably more than 50% of what i wear is plaid, but i pretty much only wear plaid shirts...probably cuz im like... country, at heart at least....ya..GO PLAID!

I love plaid too! Plaid flannel is pretty much a requirement for indie/hipsterdom =P The only problem is that pretty much every other counterculture wears it today too >.>

I am all for plaid button shirts, like the cool ones at say, Hollister. Long sleeved and adorable. I own four or five in different patterns ranging from the more checkered plaids to the more tartan plaids. I don't really like the plaid shirts from American Eagle simply because I don't like American Eagle. As a general fashion rule, I stay away from the three A's: AE, Aeropostale, Ambercrombie. They're like a plague of wardrobes everywhere in my high school and I don't like to wear them. Hollister is on it's way out for me since it's become overly popular in my town since the nearest shop just got a whole lot closer when a new shopping mall opened a few towns over. But I digress. We're talking about plaid.

I hate plaid shorts. Absolutely. I think they're ugly, especially on guys. Plaid should only be worn below the waist when it's on boxers if you ask me. Or if you're Scottish and have to wear a kilt. Other than that... I don't like it.

A) brown plaid converse
B) red and black plaid vintage doc martins
C) light blue long sleeved
D) Light blue short sleeved
E) Victorias secret long sleeved with 4 or so different styles of plaid
F) prehistoric boxers with 4 totally classic patterns
G) plaid bomber
h) plaid ipad case (yes I have an iPad)
I) plaid old navy bag from a million years ago
And tons more.
I'm not as crazy as I sound, I swear.

I dont really love plaid but I do wear it sometimes. I have this blue flannel plaid shirt that I got at Pac-Sun that I get a lot of compliments on. I normally wear a blue shirt under it and keep it un-buttoned, but besides that I do have a couple plaid dress shirts that I wear to school. (our school requires coat and tie) but theres no on really to look good for because its all guys

i notice a lot of people at my school wear plaid, but i dont much like it..it makes me look like a cowboy..js.
