I've read that it's normal in puberty for your nipples to get harder as you develop. I just turned 16 and mine aren't hard at all? They're still soft and everything unless I get in cold water or something.
Doesn't bother me at all, but is something supposed to happen?

I personally think they're like bellybuttons. Some are outies and some are inies.

Some boys experience hardening under the nipples or some slight breast development during puberty but its probably a minority that get this. Its nothing to worry about either way.

Either way it isn't important. Some guys do, some don't. It's not exactly important if they are or not.
