Freshman year

Well first off, I am a freshman this year. = ) and = /. I know all about the "freshman hate" but I just want to know what you guys think of freshmen? I myself right now should be a sophomore = (. So I am obviously more mature then most of the freshman I will be with at school, so for that reason I know that I won't get shit as much. I heard that as long as yourself, and you don't act like you own the school and what not, you'll be fine.

Anyway, yes I am just wondering, what do you guys who are upperclassmen think of freshmen?

I'm a junior. And my high school starts in 7th grade, all the way through to 12th. So, if by your 3rd year there, you can't find your way around the school, considering we only have 3 hallways, there's a problem.

7th graders are fricken' annoying. Sprinting through the halls, pushing and shoving, not giving a fuck. Ugh.

There's generic freshmen hate, you're gonna hear a lot of jokes (when I was a senior, my friends and I would joke about having to scrape the freshmen off our shoes), but as far as any real comments directed towards you, I wouldn't be so worried. Keep your head down and your nose clean, and you'll be fine. If an uperclassman says something to you, don't be an ass, most are trying to help. If you don't cause problems, you won't get problems. (Usually.)

anyway my school is 10-12, so its the sophmores that get the most of it here.
But its nothing big. ive never actually heard of a kid getting beat up for it or this whole 'stay out of the way' thing. I mean... youre just new it's not a huge babble. No one puts a sign that says "kick me i'm a freshman' on you :P

Freshman, I mean shit I can remember when i was a freshman, though I am not in school anymore I was a sophomore. I had a lot of upper class friends and freshman friends. I wasn't mean to them or gave them the hazing that they would usually endure when first coming :P They're just like me except younger, a huge new environment to learn, shitty teachers;all that good shit, as I remember it as if it were just yesterday. So I never hated on them.

I'm a senior this year, and I don't have any problems with freshman as long as they don't try to act like know-it-all's just cause they're in high school now & don't clog up the hallways by not walking or standing around. Most of them are okay though, they're all just so tiny and it makes the rest of the people my grade feel like giants.

Upperclassmen at my school don't really bother freshmen unless they deserve it. They tend to get more flack if they're immature and obnoxious.

I know the upperclassmen joke about hating the freshmen, but none of us actually do, as long as they aren't totally obnoxious. But there are obnoxious people in every grade, so...
