I took calculus very recently and I couldn't grasp any of the concepts like the other kids. All of them were a little older than me, around 18. The teacher would explain something and I just couldn't catch on. I want to say that maybe I'm just not a big math person but this is my stronghold in school. My guess was that since I'm a really late bloomer is it possible that my brain is just not prepared for such complicated mathematical problems or are our brains fully developed when we hit puberty?

Your brain can handle mathetmatical calculations just fine whether you started early or late.
