I have asked all the girls and women I know, and they all like the idea of being seduced. Romantic, they say.
Am I stupid, or isnt seduction the art of initiating sex without permission? Very risky behavior in my book. Especially for guys not good at interpreting females (and who is?). Isnt seduction an invitation to jail?

Not always, seduction is also a form of foreplay. It can actually be a turn on for people and can also be used to initiate sex pending both people agree to it.

Of course, girls want to be seduced...what, are we nuts?...but I'd bet guys would want it, too...cuz they're not nuts, either.
...and it's not "an invitation to jail" unless its specific actions cross a line.

OK, I get it, we all would like to be desired, pursued, courted. But you seduce someone with sex as a goal, right? Talk them into something they would not otherwise want to do? I never heard of someone being seduced to hold hands. An undesired kiss or "feel" would be be wrong, and dangerous, in some situations.

As i said. Seduction can be foreplay. Seduction doesn't always result in both parties wanting to have sex, im sure there are cases of the male or female turning round and saying "Look, i don't want to have sex" and thats that. How can you be sure they wouldn't otherwise want to do it? You're not in the mind of the person at the time or beforehand. Yes, it can end badly and possibly result in rape, but tbh it isn't often. You'd be surprised how many times sex between couples is initiated by one person more than the other. its called "Getting the person in the mood". It's not rape unless the guy steps over the line and physically forces her into having sex with him without her consent.

Seen positively, seduction is a synonym for the act of charming someone — male or female — by an appeal to the senses, often with the goal of reducing unfounded fears and leading to their "sexual emancipation".
Seduction, seen negatively, involves temptation and enticement, often sexual in nature, to lead someone astray into a behavioral choice they would not have made if they were not in a state of sexual arousal
Kaius is indeed right, seduction can either be good or bad. One is to turn someone on, foreplay - which can lead to sex, and usually it's when both parties agree and or give consent. It can also be seen negitavly to, it depends which way things were actually intended.
