So I've seen alot of topics in this forum, but never have I came across my issue..

How can I STOP liking a girl?

Basically theres a girl ive known for awhile, and I dont kow why but it seems during the school year i get REALLY attracted to her, but during summer the feelings fade, and now that school started again .. so did the attraction.

Everytime ive liked this girl, ive been miserable. But last year for a while I did get feelings for a different girl, and when I liked her I was actually happy, which im not with the girl ive liked a bunch of times.

So basically to summarize, I'm done playing games with this one girl. Evidently, I like her but I dont WANT to like her..

How can I stop?

You can't.

Love is an odd thing, and you simply can't make your feelings go away, however you can try dating someone else, or at least go out with her and see how it goes.

Try to find things about her you don't like. Maybe her friends are douchebags or something. Find somebody else. For me, finding a pornstar that looked like the girl was into helped me get over her unavailability. But that's just me, I'm a freak. Maybe it'll work for you too.

I'd also disagree that you can't stop liking someone. Attraction is a feeling, and with sufficient willpower and self-control, you can control your own feelings.

You cant stop liking someone, you just have to wait until the feeling goes away.

I believe you've answered that for yourself. When school stops and you stop seeing her, the attraction starts to disappear as well, but when you start again the attraction returns. Simply try to keep away from her, this means not talking to her in classes or over facebook. if possible just delete her. the longer you're away the easier it will begin to get.
