You guys need a forum for Abuse

You've got everything else but nothing for abuse. Im sure plenty of people here are, have been abused and they need somewhere to talk it out. Maybe this has been suggested before and declined but maybe consider it again, Im sure it could benefit a lot of people.

The thing is what are we going to say to these people?

"I have been abused, what do I do?"
"Go to the police, or a school conselor.

This topic can fit under depression loss and grief, sometimes self harm, and just the general hospital.

I vote yes... it's a good idea, and Diego, think about it... maybe they just need someone to say it out, really, people might have told the police, and everything is "fine"...

under the psychiatric ward? but it wasent active at all so it was deleted and they were just supposed to post it in depression or the crisis forum

i dont have a problem with one just toss it in the psyciatric ward if you want
but in honesty i cant see it being active at all really

well, not alot of people get abused everyday, and come to this forum so everyone knows... its not even easy to tell someone you were abused (i guess) but there might be people who will...

How about I make a sticky that says "I've Been Abused" there people can tell about their abuse stories? I would probapply out it in "Depresssion, Loss, and Greif.

I just think those who have been abused need a place to go and tell their story, or get help if they are currently in trouble etc. etc.

This other website I go to like this has an abuse thread and I believe it helps them a lot, so I just thought it would be a good idea.

no that would never work if someones going to tell there story they will want there own thread i dont blaim them so that will never be used

Agreed, I think a forum would be best. So each person can have their own seperate thread about their situation.

Exactly... even if its a sticky, people wont see it, and it won't stand as much as a forum does... so maybe you can create it, one or two people post on it, and then *poof*, no one else does...
