Another Bieber Thread,

I know everyone is tired of seeing his name but I wanted to make a real thread not flooded with fanboys/girls or jealous kids.

So like earlier today I was looking on youtube and clicked a link to one of his videos not wanting to hear the songs but to check out the comments and while the song was playing I started to get into it and now i actually kinda like his music even though I still don't like him.

Anyways, what I really want to know are some legitimate reasons why people like or dislike him which means none of the "he's mainstream garbage" or the "he's so fucking hot" bullshit I'm just wondering what are some real well thought out reasons why people like or dislike him, and if you really can't answer the question then most likely you're following the crowd instead of thinking for yourself.

For me it's the fact that everyone is obsessed with him. I automatically dislike him because I get sick of hearing about him. Plus I really just don't like that type of music, and it gets shoved in your face because 'everyone else' likes it.

I liked him back when he was just on youtube, singing old rock songs and stuff, but once he got signed he started singing some shitty music, I still listen to it, and dream of meeting him though.

I feel insulted every time he's claimed to have experienced "true love". I highly doubt he's ever experienced it.

I don't enjoy the beats to his songs.

I don't think he can expand his lyric writing. I like people who can write lyrics, that don't just revolve around a few things.

2) His lyrics are unimaginative and all about the same thing.

3) His fans are obsessive over him. I can't go one day without hearing 'how extremely hot' he is and 'how good his usic is'.

His face certainly isn't the problem with me as (haterz be hatin') he's pretty good looking, but his music is absolutely atrocious, I mean I do hate mainstream and he pinpoints it perfectly for those fan girls and boys. I mean I won't say that "Youngin's can't love", but damn this kid makes it sound like he's had SO many, which I highly doubt. :P I think he needs to step back and reconsider what kind of music/lyrics are really him and not trying to appreciate and look like his friends. As it ain't about impressing your friends as it is originality.

I think he has a good voice, and lots of potential. However, his production team have clearly decided that they should be aiming at preteen girls, and the result has been predictably overproduced and devoid of creativity in large part. That said, until that strategy stops printing money for them (don't hold your breath), I expect nothing else.

The faux Atlanta swagger and so forth is extra annoying too.
