Birth control?

So, my mom is having me go to the doctor soon for birth control because of some health issues i have, but im not quite sure what the pill actually does. I know that it regulates your period and everything, but does it make your period lighter? what else happens when you take the pill? :confused:

well I don't know a whole lot but it'll do. so it does give you shorter, lighter periods. also less frequent if I'm not mistaken. my cousin went on and she went from a B cup to C. however, I know someone else who takes the pill and her bra size did not change. the pill does not help with PMS. (unfortunately) hope I helped, sorry I anythings wrong.
