my anger is really out of control at the moment. i've told my parents but they say things like it's because i'm hormonal and i have pms but the truth is i've had this problem since i was young.
it's usually at my family but ive gotten really angry with friends before and to the point where ive said things to them that takes weeks to make things right again.
ive asked my mum about counsilling or something to calm me down but her constant refrain is "you'll grow out of it". ive gotten angry at teachers before on have only caught myself just in time to avoid getting in serious trouble.
i just need some advice because my family wont help me and my friends arent prepared to live with it for much longer.

I used to take medications, I don't understand why your parents would not want you take medications to control your unecessary anger.

they think that we can get through it "as a family" but the truth is they think its a joke
which in turn just gets to me because it's like
great i'm your daughter there's something wrong and you find it funny

personally, i have anger issues with my dad every single damn day. he pushes me to the edge. the only way i haven't killed him yet is because of my friends. and the fact that i remember something everytime i'm getting angry. you can't control all aspects of life. sometimes shit will be thrown at you and you have no control over it. what you can control, is your anger, your emotions, and your actions. getting angry won't help none at all. accepting that life is crappy, will help a little bit. but using your anger to fuel actions that will make life better will help a lot. my parents make me do chores. i get angry. i use that energy to do my chores. your parents say you'll grow out of it. get angry. tell them that they are being stupid and that you won't get through it without help. find people to help you. talk to a priest if you have one, they can act as counselors. talk to counselors at your school, they have anger management training. most importantly, talk to your friends, friends can get you through almost anything.
