Peeing in the Shower

Is it just me or does it just seem more convenient to pee in shower than to pee in the toilet and then get in the shower. It all goes to the same place so why does it matter? What do you think?

Well one can argue its not sanitary and I think its appropriate to not go gung-ho as some people could say, and pee everywhere.
I try to go down the drain and make sure to throughly wash everywhere because ever since I went to take a shower after my bro there was pee everywhere..

No. I think it's... I don't know. Even though it's me and one other person who uses the shower. I still don't. I just use the toilet as I get ready to get in.

I remember someone peeing in the showers at the gym. I just so happened to look over with soap all over my face, and he was peeing. I was like "Really, man? C'mon, you know?" He said sorry. It was funny. But that was too much. :P

I don't really do it because I don't find that my need to pee coincides with shower time, but it doesn't bother me.

Urine is completely sterile, and aside from that produces ammonia when it has left the body. Ammonia is commonly use in many household cleaners, and in olden days there were places where urine was used as toothpaste (Fun fact: Portuguese urine was often imported in various places in Europe, it was supposedly the strongest type out there.)

So for all of you going "Ew": You're being a wimp. You touch many more substances which are less sanitary than urine every day.

I pee in the shower, just make sure it lands near the drain and I make sure to rinse off everything.

Urine isn't "dirty" unless you leave it sitting there, then it starts to collect bacteria and smell. I read that peeing on your feet in the shower helps with athlete's foot. Heck, people put urine on their face for acne treatment and drink it for medicinal purposes!

How is it anything alike? The bed would soak it up. The shower has running water and a non-porous surface. So, unless your shower is actually just a mattress, or your mom's bed(what about your dad?) is made up of shower material, it's not the same.

As for me, I usually do it cause I see no reason not to and it saves a few seconds in the morning which is just a bonus. It's a good habit to get into for when you have to start paying for your own water. ;) Just... aim for the drain and you're good to go.

Sorry, but urine is NOT sanitary. It is full of body fluids and acids, all that. Thus the reason people flush toilets... and boil their urine to drink it in the wild.
On another note, I find peeing in the shower rather gross. Especially if you're in a public shower! Toilets aren't THAT bad...

Actually, Urine is Completely Sterile. Once it's ready to leave your body, it has already been sterilized by the kidneys. As weird as it may seem, very true.

Actually, peeing on your feet doesn't cause athlete's foot or fungus or disease. Though some believe it can actually "cure" or prevent it, that's a myth too.

What I found interesting though was this, "OS Mata Atlantica, a Brazilian environmentalist group, has been pushing for citizens to embrace multitasking in the tub. According to the group, if households avoided one flush per day, 1,157 gallons of water would be saved annually." I'm assuming that's just in Brazil. Imagine how much could be saved if everyone in every household worldwide avoided one flush a day.

I always piss in the shower. Right when I get in I never have to go, but something about the hot water or something, after standing in there for a few minutes I feel like I'm gonna burst. So, I just piss in there instead of drying myself off to get out to piss just to get back in.
