I tried not wearing a bra and it irritated my breasts so badly I had to take off my top. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you don't mind me posting here..

From speaking to friends (girls) they've told me of times when they've went to school without bra's and it causes alot of irritation to their nipples and they get a bit red. The problem is that most girls are used to having their boobs held up by a bra but when they've got the freedom of letting them loose they tend to seem alot heavier and sensitive to bumps and knocks..

It's irritating because it's open to free air and that causes a lot more freedom, in turn making you more likely to get hurt. Bras are there to support as well and keep them up, so by taking them off you've lost the support that you need. Friction from the top you were wearing too probably didn't help much, but I don't really take my bra off so I don't really get irritated :P

Maybe going "cold turkey" made them more likely to be easily irritated by contact with your top? I don't know...

Maybe a different bra would work better for you, though? Perhaps that's the key to your issue...

I don't always wear a bra around but it might just be your nipples are extremely sensitive, were they red when you took it off?

Ive had this problem. It might be because the fabric is itchy or not used to it.
