i was hit on the head with a baseball bat by the coaches spoiled lil son a few years ago, and i havent had a good memory since then, is it possible he damaged one of the parts of my brain that remembers things? i think they on the side towards the front, where he hit me, and i cant remember what im gonna say, what i read sometimes, unless it was a really good book, but i can still remember certain events like a videocamera without sound.

Well, the whole cortex works with memory. The frontal lobe, where I'm assuming you were hit, is connected to emotions.

If it's actual brain damage, it is perminant. Neurons can't be fixed (repaired to some extent, though).

Anyhow, i'm sure it's just a minor thing, and you should do alright sometime soon. If it becomes a concern, see a doctor.

Keep us up on what happens!

the frontal top parts have to do with creating a memory and the memory part of your brain has to do with remembering it, i think it hit square between the memoy and the frontal thingies(sorry i havent been given any courses on the anatomy of the brain yet but i know this much), which would have caused my forgetting things suddenly, and not rememberingin the first place, although the brain can work with only 1memory thing, it works better with 2, and i think 1 was damageand i think we shouldve gotten an mri years ago and sewed the kids parents for all theyre worth.
