Well. Not my bones. Just the fact that I have no fat covering them between my skin.
During volleyball, we always do jump training, which is a lot of ab work and legs. Most of these are done lying on the ground.
Imagine doing crunches. Well, we often have up to 20 sets of 25. And just laying on the ground hurts my tailbone, not to mention 20 sets of them! The back of my hip bones always hurt, with my tailbone, and my shoulder blades hit the floor!
Is there anything I can do to stop that? My spine basically rolls down onto the floor and makes it hurt all the time, and I have bruises along it, it kind of sucks.
Not only does it happen on my back, but my upper thigh-hip area, is completely bruised as well. We do drills (and when we are scrimmaging, or whatever) in which we have to dive, and I always end up diving the same way each time. That's taken a toll on my hip. It's painful to the touch (well, duh, it's bruised) and it hurts a bit to walk on it sometimes. When we learned to fall, it was "Use the meaty part of your thigh and hip to absorb the impact, it won't hurt." However, it hurts A LOT for me because I don't have a meaty part of my thigh.
Any way to help this stuff? Other than gaining fat to cover the bones better.
