i stopped seeing him about 3 years ago
but its just hit me
i want him back...
i want my dad back.
he abused me, verbally and emotionally, slightly physically too :/
but i want my daddy.
this is whats got me for weeks on end...
i just want my daddy...
im so scared if i tell him i want him again
i'll just push him away when the flashbacks start...
which i probably will...
i dont know what to do...
i want my dad :'(

you have to think about whats good for you. i know you might feel like you want him back, but if it is going to hurt you, then i dont feel it is a good idea. also it will hurt him if you just push him away again. this almost happened to my bf. he stopped talking to his dad about 8 months ago, and recently he felt like going back to seeing him. but he knows that if he does he is going to get hurt again. its fully up to you. but think about everything before you do it. good luck to you Nat.
