I don't think there's anything wrong with it. You shouldn't be ashamed to feed your child. Breastfeeding is natural. All these people who spas out about it need to chill out.

Agreed, it's not like someone brought a projector into a restaurant and started showing hardcore porn. It's breastfeeding, natural and acceptable. Your little 5-year-olds aren't going to loose their "innocence" by seeing a breast.

most women cover up with a towel or something so you usually dont see anything and like it was said before its natural

I don't really care, do what ya gotta do. It's your child, he/she needs to eat, that is your method of feeding, go ahead.
I think it's polite if you cover up some if possible, with a towel or blanket, but if not, I don't really care.

Heres my view:
Public Breastfeeding :: Public Nudity

Its a perfectly natural thing and the most healthy and beneficial way of feeding a baby. We only feel embarassment because we're not used to it. I dont see it as a sexual sight or something that could provide a turn on. Really if people are so prudish as to feel uncomfortable with it that's their problem, they should address their own hang ups.

And what if it is? I see no problem with public nudity, either. Your penis/ whathaveyou is natural.

How so? Thats like saying we should have gloves on because otherwise our hands are exposed. Who decides which bits can be uncovered and which amount to "nudity". Nudity surely is only if everything is uncovered. The logical conclusion from this is that we should all wear the burka.

I'm kind of uncomfortable with public nudity, but also accept that that's just about the environment I've been brought up in. It's illogical and your last sentence is right, its natural. Why are we so ashamed and embarrassed by it?

Some people are against breastfeeding in public because they think there's something sexual about it. Sooooooooo wrong to think like that. It's just fast food for a lil baby.

I'm a supporter of public nudity. Pretending that breasts don't exist and masking them behind this sexualized veil is utter poppy-cock.

Most women don't take all their clothes off and use a towel to cover the area up so others don't see much of the breast. Nothing wrong with that. I'd have a problem if the woman was parading around with the child clinging to not fly off and milk spurting everywhere. I've never seen this happen in real life as I doubt any mother would do that. It's natural and even though there can be some nudity in it, most of it is covered up so there's not much to see anyways. Sometimes people may disapprove depending on the context, such as going to a restaurant and while others are eating, they're hearing and seeing the baby breastfeed. I have seen that and the women generally take extra care to cover up because of the context.

I think it's fine. As long as the lady covers herself up somewhat then it's cool with me. It's natural and I'm purdy sure that most people have been through it when they were babies, although you might not remeber it :P.

if you dont like it turn away and the nipple is usually covered when there is a breast feeding going on and as long as the nipple is being covered its not nudity

mabye im just shy, but it just doesn't seem right at all to do that stuff in public, its just werid and embarrasing to see.
The world is confusing and theres always going to be debates on what is right and what is wrong, I'm not saying that im right, and not saying im wrong either. its my opinion, and i have a right to think what i want, thats what i think. agree or not, idc
winning a fight online is like winning the special olympics, even if u win; your still retarded.

You do, but seeing as you put your opinion forward in the debate section, you need to expect that those who disagree with you are going to say so. You need to back up and argue for your opinion, not just say it and expect everyone to go along with it. if you don't provide an argument for your opinion, people are going to attack it. If people feel your justification is insufficient, inappropriate, or raises other issues, they're going to call you out on it.

There's a difference between a fight and a debate in an area designed for debate.
Back on topic: I'm meh on the issue. Wouldn't say I advocate doing it in restaurants, or other places people might be squeamish, but I don't really see anything wrong with it.

Nothing wrong with it, its all natural. Every woman should be able to do it, as long as they are reasonably discrete. Obviously if a woman takes her top off to do it, and completly exposes everything, then they shouldn't be allowed. If you allow women to take their tops completly off, then you can't expect public nudity to be illegal for everyone else. Although, I can't imagine many woman would take their tops completly off anyway but it has happend.
Also, If you breastfeed it in public, you can't expect no one to look, there are some pervy people out there!

I think it's alright in certain places, but not in others like restaurants and that because people may be put off of their food and things. But I don't really mind if they try and cover it up a bit.

Have the decency and self respect just to cover up with a blanket or something. If your out there just flashing your breasts expect to get looks, not from pervs necessarily, its just human nature to look at things out of the ordinary.

Coming from a breastfeeding mother, I don't like it. If we were out in public I make sure I bring food for him if he gets hungry. That's what breast pumps are for.

do you not like doing it yourself or do you not want anybody doing it

Both.
Be prepared when you are going out in public with your child and save actual latching on breastfeeding to do in the privacy of your home.

Oh my God it's a breast! Quick kids, shield your eyes!
...It's not the first time you've seen a breast, not your children's either.
I honestly don't mind.
