He set her up,
For an awful letdown,
'Cause that's what he does each time around.
Every girl thinks, "This time will be different,"
And thinks his past is his past,
They think their relationship will last.
How wrong they are,
But they're under his spell,
I'm the only one who sees him as a demon from hell.
But now he has her,
My very best friend,
Who I'd never abandon, not till the end.
Now I get to watch her get hurt,
And get played like a game boy,
Because that's all this is to him, a game, and she's the shiny new toy.
I wrote this because my friend has gotten herself into a lose-lose situation with a boy and I hate knowing what's going to happen. I'm tied between telling her and keeping it to myself.
