Hey guys, I'm just back from the doctors. As my parents are away on holidays I decided to get the courage to go visit the doctor for my problem.
My problem is little white spots on my penis. The doctor said these are called Fordyce's spots. I honestly thought I had a STD! After asking her a few questions like are they infectious etc.
What she really said was, No they're not infectious and they're just roots for hairs growing. She asked me have I shaved before and I told her I have and she said that's why I get them so..
Does anyone else suffer from these?

She was telling me about some acne cream you can get but there is a few side affects such as hair loss and itchy skin. I don't want to suffer from any of these so I think I'm just going to let it be as it's not a health problem.

i have them on my scrotum but not on my penis, i figures they were from hair because they were on the skin where hair grew. But thanks for telling us what they really are!

I have them as well... I wouldn't really worry much; since it's not threatening or hurting you, you may as well leave it. Don't fix what isn't broken!

Information about Fordyce's spots has been in one of the announcements in this forum for about 3 years.
Many, many men have these. I wouldn't call it "suffering from these" because really they're no big deal. It's just a natural part of the skin.
