i have totally thought that before, so you're not alone. :]
and WOO for 270 days!!!!! that is amazing, really truly. i have like... zero? :P
even though the accidents recently have been a release, don't purposefully be accident prone just for that release. if you need the adrenaline and endorphin that badly, as most of us do, play a sport if you don't already. find something to occupy your time and thoughts. some sort of hobby :)
you aren't alone in feeling that way, as i've said. but if you ever need to talk, i'm here. just ask me and ill give you my e-mail so i can be in contact with you if i'm not online. :)

First of all, great job on going 270 days!!! That's awesome! :)
And, I've totally done the same thing. If I've gone a while, I'll start being less careful because I can convince myself it doesn't count if it's an "accident," even if I really know it does. Try and focus your attention on something else, don't give yourself that empty, boring time to let your mind drift back to it. Maybe find someone you can tell when you're really wanting an accident. Feel free to PM me as well.

firstly, 270!?! that's great, well done! :D
I feel like that quite often, so I know exactly what you mean. The best thing to do i think, (I know it sounds obvious) would be to try not to do anything that could be dangerous. I know you can't stop someone leaving glass on the floor, and it wasn't your fault you cut your foot, but just try to remember that it won't be worth it. Going out of your way to cause harm to yourself is still self harm. Even if your not holding the blade. If you intend for it to happen, then it's self harm i'm afraid.
Just remember, 270 days is brilliant. It's not worth throwing it all away. I can't tell you not to accidently tread on glass, because you can't help doing that, but don't go out of your way to do something like that. If you do, you might start to loose control, and need to do it more and more, and soon you could be back to cutting or however you used to do it.
I know you don't want this to happen, so feel free to PM me if you ever need to talk, i'm always here

And its not strange at all, i feel the same at times, but as you said yourself, you dont want to throw all those days away, its a really good achievement, I know its a hard thing to do, but just keep reminding yourself that you have come so far.

Hey, well done for 270 days! That is amazing, you should be proud.
Secondly you are not alone, i have been thinking this too, especially lately...but try not to cause accidents so it would hurt you...thinking about it this is still you intending to hurt yourself so maybe still self harm...? If you are purposefully being accident prone..i dunno though. Sorry im not much help at the moment..stay strong and stay safe. Well done too!!
