Dude it's fine. Porn is 100% fine as long as it doesn't take over your life. I think you just misinterpreted what they said. Once you start neglecting responsibilities, friends, and other familiar routines then there's a problem.

I'm 14, I watch it all the time, but it is usually just hentai (I like both though). I'm actually considered to be one of those "sweet" or "overly nice" people IRL by a lot of girls, but I have my dirty pleasures as well. Only thing to worry about is hiding it. My mom is a technophobe, so that problem is ruled out. Delete your search history and cookies and you will be fine.
