Need advice for a weird situation kind of?

ok, I've never been a believer in love at first sight, until now. But the reason I say it's strange is im only in high school. I know it's too young to feel love really... But this is just crazy. I'm a junior and there's this freshman girl who I saw for the first time this year. I've never even talked to her, and can almost guarantee she doesn't know who I am even though it's a small school. But ever since I saw her, i literally cannot stop thinking about her. I would at least like to get to know her, but I'm really shy and I don't wanna seem creepy or anything. I have her as a friend on facebook, if that helps. But i really don't wanna screw up, that's all. Oh, an it's not just like a normal crush, I've had plenty like that, I swear this is something more. Maybe I'm wrong though... Any advice? Is this weird? Am I crazy?

- to make it a little stranger, I know her dad, her dad is my doctor, which is kind of awkward. I just found this out earlier.

Just talk casual, if your shy, talk over facebook.

Ask her what kind of music she likes, whats her favorite movie, what kind of food she likes, just stuff like that.

Although it may be awkward at first, because of your feelings towards her, you should try to become friends with her. Nothing more, then see how things go.

Knowing her dad isn't awkward, really. It's just something.

If she's on Facebook one day, IM her or something. Just don't be discouraged if she doesn't answer, because if I don't have the Facebook page open, I never hear the click and never realize I have a message.

After you get to know her, see if she wants to hang out.
