What was the last surgery you had? (personally I mean going under General Anesthesia). What was it for?
Last October (2009) I had a heart surgery - a Femoral Catheter Pyroablation for Wolff Parkinson White, I think it was called… so far seems like it was successful. So, I'm sure someone out there has a better one.

You too? That's the last time I had general anesthesia. (Though they were two separate surgeries months apart. Back in 96/97 I think.
If we include semi-conscious sedation, it was Jan 09, when I went for a transthoracic liver biopsy. They gave me Fentanyl and Versed IIRC. Only thing I remember is being high as a kite. :)

like 16 months ago I had a general for my knee surgery. Scope followed by 2 plates and 6 screws ( 4 in patella, 2 in femor ) and a cadaver graft ligament ended with 36 stapples. Medial patella femoral ligament reconstruction with allograft.. had to keep my knee completely strait for 28 days. SUCKED

Haha, mine was done in one surgery. I was basically deaf it seemed before I got the tubes. (I don't even know the actual term ahhahaha) The first words that I said when I woke up, was to my mom, and I said "Mom! I can hear the TV that the girl over there is watching!" Gosh, I was adorable.
I had a huge huge huge needle shoved into my hip this spring....and one into my spine when I was in the hospital. Honestly though, I don't know if I was knocked out or not. I can't remember having it actually done, but I can remember the pain afterwards. I was totally out of it then, so I'll have to ask my mom if I was knocked out.

I had my wisdom teeth removed at the end of May. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I had a scar removed from my arm, no not because I'm superficial and I need to be beautiful on the outside, it was because I was sick and tired of having people look at me like a disabled person, like I couldn't do the same things they could just because I had a painful looking scar. I was also sick of telling the story, most the time I had forgotten I even had the scar, then someone would come along and ask what happened to me and I'd just remember all over again. /=
