Well it depends on the ocassion you are talking about they are similar so its not like a big difference.But c strings are nice!
Maybe yes because it is a private thing and also i personally dont care to much about if you are in your period or not so its better to keep with the girls unless you dont mind talking about guy things

depends what exactly she is talking about. if she is talking about the pain she is in and stuff like that then nah thats fine its completely natural...but if she is talking about the amount of blood and stuff then its not exactly something the guy is going to enjoy listening to but if he loves her he can survive and just say "uh ha" =p
