Bird, o' bird bathed in gold,
You look so lonely perched o'er there.
Oh you look so cold,
Oh come, I'll show you that I care.

Bird, o' bird I adore,
Come and show me what it means
To have something worth fighting for,
Not just within my dreams.

Bird, o' bird of peace,
Come to wage war within my heart,
To raise feelings deceased
And slowly, oh slowly tear me apart.

Bird, o' bird of hate,
Come and show me love again,
Rebirth emotions so irrate
And show, oh show me my sin.

Bird, o' bird of a feather,
Separate from me once more
One and all, flock together
Only to leave like before.

Bird, o' bird of temptation
Stray me now from my path
With some strange sensation
And all your misguided wrath.

Bird, o' bird of beauty
Why let me ruin you so?
Why, oh why me?
Reveal the reasons I don't know.

Bird, o' bird that I love,
Won't you stay forever more?
Both raven and dove,
Remind me more than those before.

Bird, o' bird that I trust,
Believe in me how I believe in you
And show me what I must
To prove this love of you is true.
