Also, why do you work out?

Just wondering if anyone here has any kind of workout pattern or routine.

I work out once every two days at about 10:15pm, usually goes to about 11 :) Dunno why I do it, guess it's just to boost my confidence :P

I used to go 3 times a week for about an hour and had a whole routine. But I had to stop, my modeling, dancing, and acting couches have told me various times not to do it. It makes your movements very restricted and stiff instead of making you move in a flowing, graceful way. It also wears out your muscles a little. What it does is make your muscles tighter instead of making them flexible like other kinds of sports.
Instead I'm trying to begin yoga and pilates soon, sadly most people see it as feminine. But if makes me move flowingly for dance, walk gracefully for modeling, and react more naturally for acting then I'm for it. Not including that it makes you better with pelvic movements in sex.

Not exactly puberty related but BLARG

Yeah i work out, 5-6 days a week with a rest day and a work(job) day.
I do it for 1-2 hours depending on the motivation status.
It's so fun except hearing the other guys grunt when they reach another rep.

No. Swim practice takes care of my work outs.

I do treadmill and then run the track :) Usually at night.
But like in the mornings or afternoons I walk the dog ^.^
I do it because I want to lose some pounds, and I want to live a healthy life.

This summer I've become super active. I used to be so darn lazy, but right now I'm nearly as active as I used to be as a child.

I do swimming and dancing classes (I'm gonna be honest, I'm naturally good at dancing ^__^). I go to the gym a lot too, because it helps me with the stress and anxiety. As a matter of fact, exercise helps me keep SOME form of sanity, and it drastically decreases depression.

I usually have to go early in the mornings, because I don't have time for them during the day and evening, and swimming classes are only open in the morning because public swim time is during 12pm onwards, and the gym is always overly busy. However, I usually go to dancing in the afternoon.

I run ussually 5 days a week for track or cross country. In the summer this is ussually in the morning around 9:30 and during the rest of the year it's around 3:30 after school. I also go to my school's weight room afterwards a few days a week. Lately I've also been trying to get in the habbit of doing either 100 push ups or 200 crunches after I wake up in the morning.

I work out every other day in the afternoon, or in the morning if it's the weekend. I read that night is the worst possible time because you're not taking in any additional protein or nutrients to repair your muscles, which hinders growth. Plus you'll probably be more tired which also detracts from the workout.
