Coughing for 2 days now? WTF.

Okay, so yesterday when I woke up from bed, I realized that I was really sick. I've been coughing all of that day, and all of today. WTF is up with that? Is it because my sheets are really dirty?

Additional:
I do have a cut on my thumb (that I have no idea where it came from) that's is sealed with blood... could it mean that there is an infection in my bloodstream?

Getting checked out is a good idea. That said, I spent my entire sophomore year of high school with a hacking cough. It can be annoying, but it's possible it's nothing.

It could be due to second hand smoke, if you know of anyone who smokes.

There are some cottonwoods around where I live. So that might be the source. I dunno. But my brother was sick before I got sick and he may have passed it on to me.
