Telling Girls they are beautiful?

Ladies, I was just wondering...does being called beautiful (or other words like pretty,cute ect) feel intrusive if it is coming out of the mouth of somebody you don't know very well or is a complete stranger? I have a HUGE crush on this one girl who is an accquaintance of one of my best buddies (although, according to my buddy, she's a "whore". Ugh, just thinking of that word as an adjective for ANY woman makes my stomach twist. It does not help that he is usually rational in his words.). I don't know her too well (and unless my friend ended up on the subject of me at some point whilst talking to her, I doubt she doesn't know me too much beyond the fact that I'm one of the "smart" kids), but I seriously want to get that off my chest. I'm assuming this would make her feel better, even if it is coming from me. True?

They might feel weird since she doesn't know you all that well, but give it a shot. If you find it risky, get to know her and then express your feelings.

Well it would be a little weird if she has no idea who you are but being called beautiful even by a stranger is amazing xD Well it always makes me smile :D
Since she's friends with some of your friends hang out with them and you can get to know her bettert. And don't just randomly start talking about your feelings for her lol just wait until your more comfortable around her :)

Most girls (from what I know anyway) like being calle beautiful more than anything, I don't like being called hot I wouldn't mind cute but when anyone calls me bautiful I just love it :D

Well, 8bitter, I think, if you say it to her "the right way", she'd be flattered. If she isn't, then it's not your problem because you were honestly trying to offer a compliment.

Maybe try and pick the moment to offer the compliment...choosing when you think it might be best received.

I think, unless she'd clearly not be worth your time, hearing how lovely she looks, and having it come from a decent guy, would lift her spirits and maybe even make her day. :-)
