.. And I read what people posted, about ingrown hairs and itching, and it kinda got me a bit nervous. It's not to bad itchy, I'll live with it, but the thing is the ingrown hairs.
How often is it that you get ingrown pubes after shaving your pubes? I shaved mine all the way down, like baby butt smooth, so idk...
Is there anything i can do to prevent ingrown hairs?

Sometimes I do that. First time I did it, I got ingrown hairs, but I've done it a couple of times since then and I hardly get any now. I think I've just kinda shaved with the "grain" and been gentle haha. I usually do it in the shower, it seems to "work better."
Lately, I've just been trimming down to have short, smooth hair, not going completely smooth.

Yeah I shaved in the shower. What happens if I do get ingrown hairs? What do i do, get some teasers and pull em out?? Ewwwww, i might just leave them..

Alright, what if I don't have aftershave?
Don't really want to be all like.. "yo mom, i shaved my pubes, get me some aftershave"...
Could I just use like baby lotion or something..?

@ Poison- ingrown hairs are when the hair curls back on itself and grows into the skin. They hurt and are annoying
@ Daniel- Last time I shaved my pubes smooth, my bro told me to rub an ice cube where I shaved and put some baby lotion on it. It stopped the itching
Don't really know how to prevent them :/ I just know you can take tweezers and pull on them so they don't keep growing into the skin. You're not supposed to completely pull them out though

Thanks but it doesn't itch, and also, If you get ingrown hairs, do you just let them be or do you have to pull them out?

Yeah.....who knows
I've heard from some people that you can try to let it get better on its own but I've heard from others that it can get infected or something..idk :/

well if you get ingrown hairs it;s best to pull them out i got one once it got infected and i had to go to the doctor because it swelled to the size of a golf ball and it hurt so bad i could barely walk and when i doctor putted the hair out it felt like someone was sticking me with a red hot poker. I don't know if you can prevent ingrown hairs but best to take care of them early. after that i just stop shaving my pubes now i just trim

Ingrown hairs only happen when you let the hair grow back out. As long as you shave it, it won't happen. Even if it does, it isn't all that bad. :P

Ingrown hairs have a part that's not ingrown. Pull it, and the hair goes up again ;)

if you can't see it at all... nothing, but if you can see it, but it's covered with skin: sharp nails.

So, is that an option? To just wait for them to pop out? Or would I have to dig into my pubic area with teasers and pull it out..?
I think I cut myself shaving... Idk if it's razer burn or what, but it's bleeding. Looks like 8 little dots in one spot, and its bleeding.. What do I do? I'm just holding a warm rag on it now..

Hey Daniel, I use to shave my pubes and really can't say I got any ingrown hairs or anything like that but now I use Nair because it makes it real smooth and you can't cut yourself and I never have any problems at all. Oh yea, I also put baby powder on after
and it just makes it feel cool and smooth, so you might try it that way. Good luck!

Hey!
i shaved like fifty times at least but i don't shave constantly i quit shavnig because i like triming ,ore, so now i trim! =) every little while i still shave bhecause i also like all smooth!! :)
well about shaving and ingrown hair... i've never had any problems with that and i didn't use any lotion or aftershave all you do is:
one day or 2 days after you shaved you look downstairs if there are any red spots simmilar like little pimples and you just scratch them so the hair is free to grow and that's all
