This girl

I have had a lot of trouble with getting girls this last year in public schools. I just transferred into this private school and there is this girl I like, but I am not sure how to approach her. We got put in the same lab group yesterday and we flirted, but besides that I have been to scared to engage in conversation. Does anyone know an easy way to start talking to her, but not look stupid at the same time.

Walk up to her and be like "Whats up?"

She'll be like "Not much, you?"

Be like "Same. I really wanna go see that new resident evil movie. How about you? Any movies you wanna see?"

From here, this conversation could go two ways:

1. she could be all like "Yeah, i love resident evil, i wanna go see it to"

then you be all like "Cool, maybe we can go sometime"

then she'll be all like "Yeah, that sounds fun"

Orrr...

2. She'll be all like "Well I really wanna go see Easy A".

youll be all like "really? i wanna see that one to. maybe we could go sometime?"

she'll be all like "yeah, that sounds like fun."

Ok I'll try. I was going to get her number and try texting her, but it sounded kind of creeperish. Thanks for the help!

yea I try to stay away from the whole texting game. Maybe I'm 'oldschool' like that lol, but it just makes life so much easier.

Daniel demonstrated really well how easy conversation can be, even if a different scenario can be tipped in your favor. The trick in that is to just try and be agreeable. If she doesn't seem to be interested in whatever it is you bring up, you simply gauge her reaction and put forth a new idea and see where it goes from there.

If your lab partners it sounds like you have some time over the next few days (or how ever long you work with her) to get to know her likes and dislikes.
