I love it, maybe a little more color but it's very pretty. Love the sketchiness of the lines and the writing all around her. Can't wait to see more :)

Thanks- I'm starting to get serious about my art at 13. Im very rough in the lines I draw and I especially love to sketch on my iPad because you can use it to edit, use layers, and there's so many choices for brushes and tools and such.

If you want to get serious about your art, I'd suggest studying real-life subjects with just a paper notebook and some pencils. At this stage of your learning process, the technical niceties are more of a nuisance than helpers, as they distract you from the basics.

If you really want to invest time and money in digital painting, sell your iPad and get a Wacom tablet - it will give you way more drawing possibilities and precision.

I agree completely. If you're using a program that will allow you to flip an image on it's axis, drawing with a tablet can help a lot with symmetry--both digitally and on paper. However, it's very difficult at first to use a tablet until you get used to it; just keep practicing and it will be worth your while.

I've also found that tracing photographs of people can help with drawing proportions, because you kind of get used to the typical shapes and angles used to draw them.

Finally, using a tablet, in general, can really help in improving your drawing skills--much more than an iPad ever could. ;)

I hope that helps! :)
