Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 is now available for download or purchase at Microsoft's site! Its quite stable, although I had a problem installing from inside XP, so i just did a boot from the DVD and it installed perfectly, no crashes or anything so far, only problem is a buggy audio driver, and aero is pretty sweet. Get it while it lasts, and if you have Vista already just upgrade it, you can use the same product key as before if you downloaded Windows Vista Beta 2 but had trouble installing it like me.

Here's a screeny :D

The system requirements are fairly high for aero, but any somewhat modern computer can run the basic theme.

Nice, I really like the way the menubars are designed. I tried it out awhile ago and it worked pretty good. Mac is and always will be better though :]

Dont install this on the same HDD as your XP. Vista should only be used for research and development right now. Theres little to no programs/drivers out for it.

you can use it on the same hard drive, just don't upgarde XP, put it on its own partition. It will still be able to run ms word, and I've found Warcraft 3 installs properly, although Starcraft doesn't, but that's eight years old. The current release is stable enough to use as your main OS, but I don't recommend it because it has a few bugs.
