i'm really afraid of needles.
Like eyerytime i go to the doctors i pray not no get a shot or to have to give blood. luckily i have a deal with my doctor to not give blood (my arms haven't been touched by a needle in more than 5 years) but i'm really afraid becouse now i'm going to high school and there might be some physicals and i might have to give blood there.

Has somebody else have a phobia like this?
is this just a part of puberty?
how to get rid of this phobia?

This is not related to puberty, however many people have similar fears. I personally don't like needles, but we were required to get an H1N1 vaccination a few months ago. It didn't hurt at all, so that made me less scared of them. I think it's "trypanophobia". To overcome a fear, you must not be scared. Next time you need a shot, don't avoid it.

He's right this isn't related to puberty, it's just a common fear lots of people share. You seem to have a pretty decent phobia against it. And actually in order to overcome a fear, you need to face it. Just like for me I need to actually pic up spiders in order for me to break my fear against spiders.

I was quite fearful of needles, until I broke my arm and was forced to have several things injected into me.

Trust me, if you close your eyes, it's nothing. It doesn't hurt, the worst part of it is the pain you put on yourself from worrying.

I used to have this problem when i was alot younger, i was only 4 and it took 3 nurses and my mom to hold me down to get my blood drawn, what a scene. Now im fine with it, i realized that it didn't hurt that much and i just look away. DON'T LOOK AT THE NEEDLE!!!

it used to take 4 nurses a long time ago to get me my shots.... god it was terrifying. I h8 needles they freak me out so much. i just the last 2 times, sucked it up and delt with it. it was the only way through. I just got a physical a week ago. no blood, unlesss they have a dang good reason to need it. but i got 4 shots :'(. 2 in each arm. i'm mostly terrified of them bc i have reactions to them, like i get huge bruises for WEEKS. like right now...yesterday my shoulder had a green ish bruise, now its purple :'( so thats why im terrified of them. but its gotta happen. Yes, i know this is The worst reason EVER but: Its for your own good to get shots.

in the last 3 weeks i have had many tests --- most require blood work.

I used to be absolutely terrified of needles. Worrying for days before going to the doctor screaming and fighting, sweating and feeling sick.

The more shots I got, the less worried I got. Just don't look at the needle.
