I go to a rural indipendent school and we don't go back until the day after Labor Day but I am really dreading it a lot. I am looking forward to seeing some buds that I don't get to see during the summer but I hate all the rednecks, the jocks, the bullies, the gay haters and was wondering if any of you feel the same about school? I do alright grade wise and like the education but it's all the other crap that I hate.

I personally can't wait to get back to school. Summer has been very boring for me. I generally just ignore the bullies and such, they leave me alone if I leave them alone. Which is not hard for me, because I don't talk much anyways... :(

It is always nice to see some of the guys though.. :wub:

Hey bud I feel the same way I have a couple best friends and the rest are jerks. They all think they are hot stuff but there all loosers. I feel so awkward in the school as well. hang in there and be yourself. I try to think of something that separates me from them and I say I am going to be successfull one day don't worry about what silly teens think.

i start the day after labor also -- really not all that crazy - i like the freedom of summer
.. every school as red necks - they r just jerks. i think it is worst if u go 2 a public school -- i go to an all boys school. we have our share of jerks also - but at least if
u get into trouble where i go they kick your ass out and no return. so this really keeps
the trouble makers in their place. gay is ok. we have gay guys where i go. they really do not get picked on. gay guys should be treated like everyone else. some day gays men will be alble to marry just like everyone else. hope the best 2 u -- get yourself a big friend -- or best is not to let ass holes get u down. i wish u the best. u r not alone.

Like others have said... school is great, I personally love learning, and it's good to see my friends, but school is always going to have those jerks, and all random assortment of assholes... I say that it is a good idea to have some buddies and friends who are big and wont let any crap happen to you... see if your friends are good enough to stand up for you against all of the retarded haters... It's hard to deal with homophobes, especially down south where there are so many gay haters... Good luck, and try to enjoy school as much as possible regardless of the idiots out there...

Thankfully my school isn't violently anti-gay; we even have a GSA. I'm sorry you have to go through this, high school is hectic enough without all the bullies and closet homophobes making everything hell.
