Wonder.

If you were to die next week
I would not remember you as weak
I would remember you as strong
And how you would just move along

As I laid in my bed
I thought of what was in your head
You were scared of what they said
They said that you could be dead

Nine months you had to remember
All the January's through December
To share your thoughts with your family
We sat with you, happily

We all love you more than you thought
All the messages that we've brought
Had been of love and filled with sadness
We wished we could end this madness

We did not think of what you said
We will never think of you as dead.

I wrote this 2-4 weeks ago when I found out my great grandma had 9 months to live. I wasn't going to post this but I now decided to. I'm not proud of this poem. It's terrible and has a depressing meaning fo it.
