well i guess nobody will be online at this time but i cant sleep i want to cut so bad i have been self harming for over 5 years and im trying to stop for my boyfriend however today he told me if i do it again if is going to dump me i understand that but also he told me that he may have advanced cancer with spreads to his stomach and chest . He gets the results tomorrow but i fear for the worse thats why i want to self harm so bad right now i cant sleep and throwing up doesnt help

take deep breathes and calm down just relax if you really need to try something that wont hurt you...colour on paper and rip it up clean orginize things keep your mind busy just dont hurt yourself

If in the future you ever need to talk to someone on short notice, feel free to contact me if I'm online, or even if I'm not and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Also, what about your boyfriend? I assume that he cares about you and wants to see you self-harm free, so he should be supportive if you are saying that you genuinely try to stop, but can't do it alone. I'm sorry to hear about the cancer, and hope that test results turn out for the better. Even if they don't, though, just remember that the best thing you can do to support him is to take good care of yourself - he wouldn't want to see you hurt yourself more over him.

This is a difficult time for both of you, and your distress is understandable. Never give up your resolve to quit, though, no matter what happens - those who care will always want the best for you.

i threw up few more times before i passed out .i have just woke up and started crying again .i done this small not even a inch cut on my leg as i just couldnt stop and cope with all this. He said that if its bad news he doesnt want me there as he doesnt want to see me upset and ruin my life. It hurts so bad and scares me to dead cuz i know .its gonna be bad news from what he told me i can only fear the worst i cant stop crying

(update) i just got a text from him saying the results came back positive, that just crushed me and broke my heart

This may seem lame, but it worked for me. I cut myself a few years ago then my friend told me to kick my soccer ball as hard as I can against something. You don't have to do that, but something that takes your pain/anger out on a non living object really works.

well tried that will throwing my pillows around, doesn't work, i just stopped eating now, i keep shaking and vomming all the time but i got this caffine/glucose pills today and i'm feeling better
