I'm 14 and i was wondering if theres anyway I can get birthcontrol without my parents knowing. Do you have to be a certain age to buy them at a drug store or anything ?

if you're talking like condoms, i you dont need to be a certain age, my brother bought them at 13. But if you're talking like the pills, yeah you probably need a prescription for it, so that might be kinda hard to keep it from your parents!

look for a local Planned Parenthood they might help you I know they do here in the US

If you go to a walk in clinic, you get seen, they give you what you need. You'll get the safe sex talk, in all honesty, they're giving it away.. Literally because they don't want underage pregnancies. So they'll be more supportive then you think, a few of my friends have done that, they've been put on the pill ect and they're 15-16. The other way you can do it, but your parents will probably know is if you get put on the pill by your doctors to control periods, which gives the added benefit/bonus of contraption/birth control.

You need a prescription. But, when I got my prescription, my gyno didn't seem concerned with whether or not my grandmother [who is my legal guardian] knew about it. But, it might be different for you since you're 14. When you go to see your doctor, for like a physical or something, ask him about it and just tell him not to mention it to your mother. They're pretty loyal about that.

If you're talking about 'the pill' you may get it from a health clinic or your local doctors. If you're talking about condoms I'm not sure what the laws are in canada..
