I can see it now,
at five oh one,
we'll be awake,
to greet the sun.

Haven't slept
the night before,
wrapped in blankets
on the floor.

Hair a mess,
T.V. on static,
laughter echoing,
simply ecstatic.

Hands tangled,
holding on tight.
We haven't let go,
since the brim of night.

Soft whispers,
with hushed replies.
Gentle kisses,
and closed eyes.

Two lovers in love,
a night so divine.
With just their voices,
and arms intertwine.
