Correct way to measure my dick?

What is the correct way to measure my penis? I have noticed that I start the ruler above the base where it seperates from my body. In that instance I measured up to 4 inches. I tried measuring again and this time I measured it at the exact base and it measured 5 inches. SO which is the correct way? I'm 16 and cut by the way

At the base. Do not push in on your groin further, that would result in a larger size.

Top or side base of your penis, push down until you hit the pelvic floor (pelvis) and that should be accurate. You're supposed to push down because the penis itself begins where you can't see it, not where it actually visibly juts off your body.

Measure from the base, without pushing it into your skin. If you have a curve, measure into the curve. I suggest using a cloth measuring tape, rulers don't measure into the curves very well. :P
