Is it an option to find out who gives you rep anomously? It is soo annoying when you see it.

The system would become abused if that happened. There have been many threads on this ill go find the links now
Edit: This explains why the usernames are not given out upon issuing rep (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=66527&highlight=who+repped+me)
And i think tom sums it up nicely why :
When people could see who repped them it was used for revenge rep and people would sometimes pm the person or post in a thread to bitch them out about it. Rep should stay anonymous it's better this way and causes less problems.
If you receive unfair rep you can report it but you don't need to know who did it as per the reasons explained in the above link and post and if it is positive just be happy you got it

If it bothers you that much just keep a note of your rep points then when you get anonymous +/- rep see how many points you have gained or lost. You can normally pretty much work out who it was if you know how many points you gained or lost when compared to comments in the thread.

And occasionally the person will sign their reputation as well. I have on a few occasions, especially if it's a thread I'm heavily invested in.
