This Girl

OK, so I know this is an extremely common topic on these forums, but I wanna know your thoughts. There's a girl I like. We haven't known each otehr for long, but we're friends. Not great friends, just, familiar and maybe a joke or two. Anyway, a while ago, somebody blurted out that I liked her while she was in the room, but I'm not sure if she heard. There was plenty of people yelling, and it was hard to hear each other. Anyway, I tried to pass it off, saying no (I realise now I should've just said yes) and I sat down and shut my eyes for a moment to try and minimise the embarassment (this was the first time I've liked a girl this much, and the first time a girl has found out). In that moment, I heard her say "Thanks Nick," in a friendly sort of way, but the problem is, both me and the other kid were called Nick, so I'm kind of confused whether she heard or not, because I didn't think that was a usual reaction for finding out somebody likes you... :what:

Anyway, I might be seeing her this weekend with some other friends, and I don't know what to do. I don't think there'd be much awkwardness if she knew, because she's a really nice person, so there wont be anyway for me to know if she knows I like her or not... I want to tell her I like her, but I'd feel dumb if I told her and she already knew...

Anyway, thanks for reading this and any advice would be appreciated. :D

Well you said there were two of you named Nick right? Well if she did hear it maybe she is confused to on which on of you it is. I think you should tell her and if she already knows its you well then you telling her 1. Shows you have confidence and 2. Lets her hear it for sure thats its you

Yeah i agree that if she has no problem with you and you like her then there is no reason not to tell her, from what you've said it doesn't sound like she'd fly off the handle or anything.
Go for it. If you don't try you'll never know...and how much will you regret THAT
