Are other mp3/mp4 players compatible with itunes software? I'm liking the way they organise your music to perfection but I really do hate the sound quality on Ipods so i'm kinda stuck, Cheers.

Wrong, not everything is compatible with iTunes. Only products made by Apple will work with iTunes, which means anything in the iPod, iPhone, and iPad market works with it. iTunes will hold any MPEG audio format (mp3, mp4, wav, etc.). So if you want a device compatible with iTunes, get an iPod. If you use Windows, which I'm guessing you do, you can simply use Windows Media Player to sync the player.

However, SheDevil is correct (to an extent) on putting music libraries in iTunes. If you have a regular mp3 player, it should be recognized as a device with removable storage in Windows. So you can simply drag and drop into iTunes the files you want.

There's something you can download that makes it so you can move your itunes music to another mp3 player but I can't remember what it is. Jut google it and it should pop up.

You might have to convert it to a format that works on the walkman.

If you need to convert a file, you could always just download Real Time Player because it has all these different file types a file can be converted to.
