You can just go to the clinic.

go to either a walk in clinic or your doctor, tell her the postion that u are in and do not want your mom finding out. most walk in clinics will give u free samples and i think some doctors do as well, but u can get a prescription and get it over the counter or get a couple months worth, thats what i do..

Planned Parenthood offers birth control, but it's not free. I thought it was, but apparently not. My sister said it was actually more expensive through Planned Parenthood, but I'm not sure.
You could ask your mom? Or is the issue that you think she will say no? You could tell her its for your period.
If your mom is anything like mine, then she won't care. My mom has said she'd rather me be safe and protected than have me get pregnant. She thinks that if I'm responsible enough to make the decision to have sex, then I should be responsible enough to ask her to take me to get birth control.

this is prob the best way if you need a reason to tell your mom cuz thats why a lot of ppl go on the pill but if you dont want her to know at all then go to planned parenthood and get it from there

OH I thought Planned Parenthood was free..Clinic is free for the first time I think..don't know..
What I do think is that you should wait..You're still too young. I'm 17 and lived through that age without having sexual intercourse..I"m doing fine. Abstinence is the way to go if you don't want to end up prego or with some type of Std. :(

Getting BC without your parents knowing is going to be more of a challenge than people make you think. You can\'t get it for free - or at least not an endless supply - and since you can\'t really use your parents\' insurance to buy it (because they\'ll know), you will have to use your own money at Planned Parenthood or a \"clinic\".
And you can\'t just take it whenever you feel like it, so you either need to decide to be on it or not be on it. You have to stick with it, which means you better have a good job to pay for it for a while.
Also, there are side effects with every form of BC, so you\'ll want to research all of your options online before actually getting any.
Also, when you go to your Gynecologist, you\'ll have to tell them you\'re on it. Not sure if your mom goes (or will go) with you to those appointments, so that could be awkward. You can\'t just lie to your doctor because you\'re mom\'s there or because your mom might find out. Your doctor needs to know if you\'re on BC (and they need to approve).
BC is an important decision that many girls take way too lightly. It\'s hard to keep a secret like that for very long - someone always finds out. So, your best bet is to either be honest with your mom and tell her you\'re sexually active....or convince her you want to use it to control your terrible crams and irregular cycle.

Birth control isn't just for protecting against getting pregnant. Do you have heavy periods? Harsh cramps? You can ask for birth control for reason's like that.
