Ignore list

I would like to ignore someone, but it turns out they are considered a moderator in the ignore list's eye's (metaphorically speaking). He/she is a regular member it says. So why can't I?

Its because vBulletin sees moderators and diary owners as the same. Nothing can be done about it.

I asked the same question a long time ago. pretty much anyone who's a moderator of a diary you can't ignore at all.

Why not? When I was nubcake long ago, some nubcake PM'd about things which I'd feel awkward if I said it aloud for some reason, but anyway, I ignored him and everything was better. I never thought of reporting it, lol. Or I might have. I don't remember, but the moral of the story is the ignore option works quite well.

I don't know. It seems kind of rude. If someone bothers you, tell them. Or if they make you feel uncomfortable, report them.

It just seems to defeat one of the ideas of VT. Which is keeping an eye, and ear out for everyone. That's what makes us a community.

That's just me though. I'm sure it's great for people.

But it makes me feel uneasy. And I'll never use it.
