Yes that is true, but I did not ask that question. What are the consequences of making analogies between unequal things?

the answer to the initial question i think is yes. if you compare the holocaust to a man killing 10 people youre either making the mans killings seem way worse than it is or making the holocaust way less of an issue than it is
