Coke and Pepsi

I don't see why people like to argue and whine about Coke or Pepsi being better than one another. A shocking revelation: they're the same.

Some people are annoyed by getting Pepsi at a restaurant that doesn't serve Coke, and vice versa. Who cares? I drink both, they're equally enjoyable and there's almost no difference between them.

Does anyone agree? If not, explain why.

I disagree, they both have different flavors, and Coke has A LOT more carbonation, at least to me. I mean, i drink both, but if given the choice Coke or Pepsi i would take Pepsi.

I consider myself a hardcore cola consumer i can taste the differance between any brand, i could tell you which is pepsi max and which is diet coke through the taste, dunno how. But i don't think that pepsi can really match coke but i like both.

They both taste a bit different like others have said, I find Coca Cola tastes much stronger than Pepsi and Pepsi tastes somewhat more fizzier to me.

Coca Cola is my favourite of the two.

Coke and Pepsi both are very different from each other becasue Pepsi is a little more sweet in taste than the coke.

Pepsi has lesser carbonation than coke so it is easier to drink.

Pepsi maintains its bubbles down your throat. Coke is more smooth.

There are small differences between Coke and Pepsi.

In the UK, Pepsi tends to be cheaper than Coke, so usually I buy Pepsi. Also, for some reason I prefer the taste of Pepsi to Coke.
And i agree that Coke can be too carbonated sometimes.

That doesn't mean to say I don't like Coke. I love cola drinks, no matter who makes them. If I had the choice, I would take Pepsi, but if a restaurant was only selling Coke, I would still get it.

I can taste a difference, coke is a bit too fizzy sometimes, whereas pepsi can be too sweet.
But when they're watered down at fast food places they taste exactly the same!

There's a total, completely difference in my opinion. Coke in a bottle tastes absolutely terrible, but it's not bad from a fountain. But I prefer Pepsi. :)

Pepsi MAX is perfect for me. When I drink coke it makes me feel like im drinking constant grease down my throat, rather than just a drink with Pepsi, i dont know why.

I prefer coke in a GLASS bottle. I find coke in a plastic bottle taste different.

I also tasted American coke and it taste different because they use corn syrup in their coke which makes people fat.

Coke is so much better than Pepsi. In my taste, Pepsi is too sweet. And I would rather drink my own piss than Diet Pepsi. I can taste the difference between Coke and Pepsi, if both are put in transparent plastic cups.

It's not dissolving, it's staining from the coloring.

I still maintain that coke and pepsi have so little minor differences that both can be enjoyed. I just hate it when people bitch over not being able to get a pepsi instead of a coke, or vice versa. You can't be that picky.

I've noticed in Asian countries such as Thailand and Malaysia, they're heavily biased towards Pepsi. It's like Pepsi gave up in the West and bought all the advertising space they could find in Southeast Asia.

I CAN taste a difference between the two. It's not the biggest difference in the world, but it's definitely there. And it does majorly impact my choice. I choose Coke 10 times out of 10. Now, does that mean I won't enjoy a Pepsi if it's the only other alternative? No. Pepsi is still good, but not as good as Coke.

There is most definatly a difference, first of all the ingredients and cmompany and the most importantly the taste. I drink about 10 litres of coke a week, if someone gives me pepsi i know the difference straight away. if some asks me is pepsi ok because they dont have coke, my reply- is monopoly money ok?
