I remember in a forum that in your user cp you can choose to hide certain forums that you never post in. so you just choose the ones you want to hide and they won't show up in the index. if you ever want to get to them, you can use the forum jump
I say this because I wish I could hide the P101 forum. you know those button things that's supposed to expand and collapse the forums? Doesn't work for me so yeah

Those button things that expand and collapse the forums work for me so it must be the browser your on or something

not it's not the browser. my dad blocked VT a long time ago, and I have to use a proxy. because of the proxy the expand/collapse buttons don't work

OK, so it's not the browser, but the problem is still on your end. VBulletin handles this feature through JavaScript which is disabled by most proxies; if you're accessing over a proxy I'm afraid you're going to either have to find one that allows it or bite the bullet and put up with the inconvenience.

that's why I made this suggestion....
edit: meh whatever. I'd really like to hide p101 completely but I guess this suggestion won't be made anyways

Oh that's simple. :p
In IE (IE manages global network settings (For the most part at least :p )), go to tools> Internet Options> Connections> LAN Settings.
Check the checkbox: "Use a Proxy Server for your LAN"
In address enter: 63.174.60.11
In port enter: 3128
Then access VT the normal way (By going to virtualteen.org) Should work as it's supposed to. (Including the little arrows that minimize sections.)
EDIT: Disregard that, proxy must be blocked.

actually the thread isn't about the expand/collapse. I just want people to give opinions on my suggestion :S

I see.... Should've made a poll. :p
Anywho, I support this. It'd be nice to hide individual forums, not just entire groups.

You could subscribe to the forums you do use and just view them in the userCP
