I NEVER breakout on my face. NEVER. I get acne on my chest and back, but I can cover those areas fairly easily. Foundation just makes me feel like I'm covered in shit and cover up just fades. I've never been self concious of my face like this. I want to go hide in my corner until it clears up but I can't do that. And my hair doesn't exactly help things, I've been wanting to pull a Brittany Spears for awhile now. its at that annoying length where it doesn't do anything I want it to do. I think the meds I've been put on. I know one is already fucking around with my stomach. But the other is supposed to help clear acne. Idk. I'm going to hide now. This probably belongs somewhere else but I cba to do anything.

If you don't mind me saying this, you were put on birth control, right? (If that bothers you that it's in here, just PM me or report, I'll edit it out) That's changing your hormonal levels. It might make you break out for a while, but then it should get better once your body adjusts.
I've got acne on my face as well. I have good skin, except for the places where I'm broken out. I hate hate hate hate foundation, it makes me feel like I've been dipped in a bucket of glop. So, instead of foundation, I wear pressed powder that I apply with a foundation brush, and loose powder that came with a puffy thing that I use. It doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing glop on my face, but still does a pretty good job of covering up. You can even find the stuff that isn't pore clogging, which is always nice.
I'm sure you already are, but make sure you're using a daily face washing routine? Right? Remove make up, wash, moisturize. I use a great Clean and Clear Advantage Oil Free Acne Moisturizer. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized, but since it's oil free it doesn't clog my pores or make me feel all greasy.
And if you aren't going anywhere, don't wear any make up. If you're just sitting around your house for the day, leave your face natural, that's the best thing.

Nah thats fine.
Yeah, I'm just frustrated :\. I use a tea tree oil face wash and moisturizer. The only make-up I ever really wear is eyeliner and mascara, unless I'm going somewhere important. I'll try the powder, they're just really red. ah well. Thanks.

I mean no offense when I say this, but nobody cares more than you do. It's silly to worry so much over something so arbitrary.

Arguable.
Everybody's skin is different and the ingredients in the product can make it better or worse.

Ma'am, if you don't mind me saying, there are plenty lovely threads on the topic containing advice and cures and all of that awesome shit, oh yonder at VT general hospital. If this might be moved, the goodfolk there might be better equipped to help you.
But while I'm here.
If this is being caused by the pill, Milk Thistle. It helps to remove excess hormones, some of which cause acne via the bowels by increasing production of bile. You can order Milk Thistle gel caps online or get them at a health-food/ vitamin store. Take 120 mg twice a day, with breakfast and dinner. Milk Thistle might give you the runs though, so if you have mild diarrhea, decrease the dose to once a day. If it continues, stop taking it all together.
Remember, that with any herbal medicine, it might take a while. Maybe 2 to 3 weeks.
Good luck!

 Moving to VT General Hospital.
I'm being put on the pill, but if it's true that they make you break out a lot, then I'm going to be even more reluctant to take them. I'm scared enough of the fact that the pill might make me gain a fair bit of weight. If these side effects are true, then I'm going to flush those pills down the toilet or something. :/

Yeah. Pimples are more important than babies.

If it bothers you that much (like me) goto the dermatologist and see what he says. Mine has put me on accutane. Its really good, but it dries your skin out really bad. And there is possible major sideaffects. I am on month 5. The way we do it down here is you take it for 6 months. And after 6 months you supposibly wont have acne again. You also have to have bloodwork done everytime you go because of the side effects with the liver. Just talk to your doctor.
And remember Amanda, your beautiful no matter <3

I wasn't really looking for advice, I just wanted to rant, but thanks everyone for what you've said.
I have some prescription stuff for my body acne that I've used on my face, it's working well I suppose.
Thanks John <3

That stuff is amazing...I'm actually breaking out right now (in a similar situation as you...I've always been the one who never breaks out) but I used it back in 7th grade and it cleared up EVERY last blackhead. My acne has been minimal since then but now I'm starting to get some little bumps again and I"m getting really self conscious so I'm gonna get Proactive again. I'd definitely recommend it to you. Also, don't wear any foundation or stuff like that. It just makes your breakouts ten times worse because it clogs up your pores and causes more crap to get stuck in there. One of the reasons why I never wear it.

Proactiv works if the acne is very mild. My favorite OTC remedy is benzoyl peroxide cream. It's better with clindamycin in it too, but that mostly requires a prescription.
